Pay Rate: £25.71 per hour to £30.00 per hour inclusive of holiday pay

Position Overview

Bolton Talent Solutions & Bolton College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Maths Lecturer to join its successful Mathematics department on a temporary basis.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality GCSE Maths teaching to learners across a range of programmes, helping students develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills required to achieve their qualifications and progress to their chosen next steps.

You will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire learners, support achievement, and promote a positive learning experience. Working closely with curriculum colleagues and support teams, you will play a key role in driving learner progress and maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in GCSE Maths
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and support learner achievement
• Monitor learner progress and provide timely, constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
• Identify and implement appropriate intervention strategies to support learner progress and achievement

Key Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics or an associated subject area
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent)
• Proven experience teaching GCSE Maths
